Cornwall Hills College students speak out against racism

By Zuleikha Ahmed

31:05:2021

Students at Cornwall Hills College in Centurion are furious as racism allegations at the school=sees no end.

Most of the students say that this has affected their learning abilities and stops them from planning for tertiary education, knowing that they will face this daily.

They all hope that the matter will be dealt with fairly and leads to positive transformation.

Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi has promised black learners and their parents that racism and mistreatment would no longer occur at Cornwall Hill College under his watch.

A Matric student says that students of colour had to mentally prepare for each day at school, knowing that at some point, the K-word would be used.
