Fire Guts Lenasia Factory

Joburg Emergency Services say there are no reports of any injuries following a fire at a factory in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg.

It’s understood the fire broke out at a mattress factory near Takolia’s farm on Nirvana Drive early this morning.

Joburg Emergency Services Robert Mulaudzi says the cause of the fire is being investigated.

“We were told it was a factory on fire. There were no injuries that were reported on that incident. The cause of the fire is unknown, however our fire investigating team will be investigating the cause of the fire.”
