The first group of Umrah pilgrims from abroad have arrived in the blessed city of Madinah amid precautionary measures and health protocols to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

About 135 visitors from Indonesia arrived in the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s city.

The pilgrims were quarantined for three days to ensure their safety in accordance with the measures announced by the Hajj and Umrah Ministry.

Entry to Masjid-un-Nabawi will be organized according to dates approved by Eatmarna App.

After their visit to Medina, the pilgrims will then embark on a journey to Makkah to perform their Umrah.

Following a number of phases for the resumption of Umrah, the third phase allows 20,000 Umrah pilgrims, 60,000 worshipers, and 19,500 visitors per day.
