Israeli occupation forces have destroyed a 12-storey Gaza tower block housing the offices of the US-based Associated Press and Qatar-based broadcaster Al Jazeera.

The media buildings were collapsed on Saturday after being struck by Israeli missiles.

Reuters reports that the owner of the building had been warned in advance of an impending Israeli missile strike which allowed for the offices to be evacuated.

The Gaza Health Ministry says more than 128 people have been killed in Gaza since Monday, including 31 children and 20 women while 950 others have been wounded as Israeli forces continue with their unrelentless attacks on Palestinians.

Meanwhile protests against Israeli crimes against Palestinians have taken place across the globe and in various cities.

In South Africa, the SA BDS Coalition says it will be handing over a memorandum of demands to a representative of the South African government which includes a demand for closure of the Israeli embassy in the country, an isolation of Israel and for sanctions and an arms embargo to be imposed on a country that is inflicting unfathomable attacks on women and children.
