In a statement the school says that 16-year-old Uzair Manjra who was in grade 10, his friend Shaariq Joosub from grade 11 and another friend were travelling from school this morning when their vehicle was involved in an accident

Uzair passed away on the scene while Shaariq was injured.

Crawford has conveyed condolences to the family and says that counsellors would be made available to students of the school to come terms with their fellow learners passing.
