Lenasia Police Investigating Murder Case After Man Shot Dead in Extension 13

Police are investigating a case of murder after man was shot dead in Lenasia, extension 13.

It’s understood the man was shot outside his house on Friday by an unknown suspect.

The police’s Bafana Ndimande says the motive of the murder is unknown at this stage.

“Upon arrival at the crime scene the police found an African male lying on the ground with two (02) gunshot wounds on the face and bleeding. The paramedics were summoned to the crime scene and the victim was certified dead. The pathologists transferred the deceased to Diepkloof Government Mortuary.”

Ndimande has urged anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators to contact the police.
