Local security company Lethal Forces has confirmed that the body of Lenasia South resident and teacher Naadira Vanker has been found.

Vanker was reported missing last week after her car was found in Ennerdale, south of Johannesburg.

It’s understood that 30-year-old Vanker was abducted after an apparent  robbery at her home in Lenasia South.

Lethal Forces Shahiem Ismail says Vanker’s body was found at the Phumlamqashi informal settlement near Lenasia South on Wednesday morning.

“It’s one of the most saddest days that I greet you all that I can confirm that the body of Naadira has been found. I am on my way to the mortuary with the mother and the family”

Nadiraa’s mother Nayema has urged the public for privacy during this difficult time.

“I am making an appeal to the public to please stop posting any pictures or anything about my daughter because myself as a mother have no facts about what happened.”

Ismail says police have indicated that they are investigating a case of murder.
