Man Dies in Lenasia Extension 10 Fire

A 23-year-old man has died in fire at his home at an informal settlement in Lenasia extension 10.

It’s understood the fire started in the early hours of this Thursday morning.

Joburg Emergency Services Robert Mulaudzi says the cause the of fire is being investigated.

“From our side as emergency services we would like to encourage all residents in our informal settlements to look after all their heating devices, things like paraffin stoves, candles as they try to warm themselves so that we can be able to prevent fire incidents like this one.”
