The Lenasia South community are waiting in anticipation for the official opening of Masjid Uthmaan Ghani.

The place of worship has undergone an extensive revamp to accommodate the growing Muslim community.

The revamp would have been completed earlier, however the COVID-19 lockdown halted construction for a while.

Established more than twenty-five years ago, the masjid has been extended to include a larger wudhu facility and salaah area to accommodate musallees especially on the blessed day of Jumu’ah, auspicious nights and dung the blessed month of Ramadan.

The masjid also has a kitchen and Jamaat facility for visiting congregations from other areas across the country.

Masjid Uthmaan Ghani is expected to officially open in the first week of April ahead of the blessed Islamic month Ramadan.
