Mayfair Man Brutally Killed in House Robbery

A 32-year-old man was brutally killed after a group of men broke into his home in Mayfair, south of Johannesburg last night.

A source told Radio Islam, that Bilal Hafajee was returning home from the gym when he was accosted by one of the suspects at his home.

The suspect brutally beat Haffejee breaking his neck resulting in his death.
 
Hafajee’s 75- year-old father Abdul Kader was also injured by the other suspects that were in the home during the robbery.

The elderly man is in a critical condition at the Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg.

The Police’s Constable Sibongile Ngoni said a case of house robbery and murder has been opened

“Two suspects were arrested, both 20 years old, while two other suspects are on the run.

Ngoni said most of the goods taken during the robbery have been recovered.
