NFT of Mandela’s Arrest warrant has been auctioned for $130,000

An NFT version of Nelson Mandela’s arrest warrant has raised over $130,000 at an auction recently. Proceeds are to be donated to a museum preserving the history of South Africa’s anti-apartheid struggle.

The reserve price at the auction that took place last week Saturday in Cape Town was R900,00. This will help the museum stay afloat, as COVID-19 has pummelled the tourism industry in South Africa.

A UAE national has bought the NFT of Nelson Mandela’s arrest warrant.
