One Shot & Wounded, Another Arrested in Hijacking Opposite Darul Uloom Zakariyya

One person has been shot and wounded and another arrested following a hijacking opposite Darul Uloom Zakariyya, south of Johannesburg.

According to security company officials, they tracked the vehicle on Saturday morning after it was hijacked near Alberton and chased the criminals to Zakariyya Park when the bakkie crashed into a ditch opposite the Darul Uloom.

One of the hijackers was shot and wounded while the other was arrested.

The wounded suspects was treated by paramedics, while police were on scene for further investigations.
