With just eight days before South African head to the polls for the country’s general elections, Radio Islam will be hosting its final election debate at the Civic Centre in Lenasia.
The 2019 General Elections on 8 May is expected to be the mostly hotly contested polls in recent years.
Political parties have been on the campaign trail for months in various cities and communities across South Africa.
With a number protests across the country ahead of the elections, residents are holding politicians to account as they demand better housing, sanitation and service delivery.
Radio Islam’s debate tomorrow under theme “Your Vote, Your Future” will feature representatives from the ANC, DA and EFF.
Programmes Manager Ml Sulaimaan Ravat urged the Lenasia community to attend the debate.
“For the better part of the last two months, Radio Islam International has been bringing you continuous election coverage, analysis and perspective from the various political parties. As we reach the peak of our pre-election coverage catch us this Wednesday, May Day, the 1st of May at the Lenasia Civic Centre.”
