Ridgeway Muslim School: “Radio Islam is an Amazing Radio Station”

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 17-08-2018

The Ridgeway Muslim School has acknowledged that as the country’s biggest Islamic radio station in South Africa, Radio Islam plays an integral role in educating learners about Islam.

Radio Islam visited the school on Friday as part of its outreach programme to share important aspects about the spiritual journey of hajj.

With just a day left, before the five days of hajj, principal of Ridgway Muslim School Sulaiman Ismail Bhamjee felt it was important and necessary that all learners reap the benefits of the outreach programme.

Radio Islam staff Sister Faheema Patel, Sameera Bemath and Faizel Patel kept the enthusiastic vibrant learners enthralled with fascinating facts about hajj including the Hajj art competition, which many had entered.

Ameer of the school Muneer Saley says, Radio Islam’s outreach programme has the potential to inspire the younger generation.

“As Ameer of our school, I just want to say that Radio Islam is an amazing radio station and we really appreciate all the effort you put in to it.”

The winners of the art competition will be announced on Tuesday evening.
