SA Ranked In Top 5 As Most ‘Instagrammable’ Spot In The World

Radio Islam International – 2019/02/04

South Africa has been ranked in the top 5 of travel company ‘Big 7 Travel’s list of the most ‘Instagrammable’ spots in the world.

Hinting that the prestigious ranking was largely thanks to Cape Town’s ‘endless natural beauty and clifftop views, pastel pink neighbourhoods and turquoise waters’.

But the hidden beauty of the Northern Cape was not forgotten, as the Kalahari scenery and springing daisies being among the top likes on the social media platform.

Augrabies park manager, Frans van Rooyen, says this achievement is important for the expansion of the parks.

“People, they love social media. It’s actually where they live nowadays. So the fact that people are sharing on Instagram and on other social platforms shows that more and more young people are becoming interested. The calmness and the beauty of nature and really that’s a benefit to us.”
