The South African Hajj and Umrah Council (SAHUC) says all Hujaaj who were supposed to depart for Hajj 1441 / 2020 have been refunded 100% their money by accredited Hajj operators.

Sahuc says the refunds includes money paid for accommodation and for airlines based on the cancellation policy.

In a statement, Sahuc says it’s working with the International Relations Department in South Africa, the Hajj Ministry in Saudi Arabia and the Muassasah in obtaining the balance of the refunds from the Kingdom for travel operators  Khidmatul Awaam, Al Jeem, World of Travel, Shafiqs ,Travel Unlimited, and Yasmine’s travel.

“If you have booked with any of these 6 agents, you should have received 50% back from your operator. If you have not been refunded at all or received less than 50% refund, please contact SAHUC via email at info@sahuc.org.za.”  If you have booked with any of the other accredited Hajj operators and have not yet received 100% refund of payments made to your operator, please contact SAHUC immediately (info@sahuc.org.za ) and send us the last communication made between yourself and the operator.”

Sahuc says all Hajj accredited travel operators for 1441 / 2020 have until the 11th of September 2020 to refund Hujaaj 100% of the package value paid adding that airline refunds / vouchers must also be processed by this date.
