Saudi Arabia Lifts Curfew, but Umrah & International Flights Remain Suspended

Saudi Arabia  announced on Sunday that it will lift curfews across the country.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA)  reports The Interior Ministry says the curfew will be lifted across the country, including in the cities of Makkah and Jeddah where residents are currently only allowed to leave their homes for necessities.

It says all economic and commercial activities will be allowed to operate on the condition that they strictly adhere to precautionary measures.

At the same, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs says men’s barbershops and women’s beauty salons have also been allowed to function

However Umrah pilgrimage and international flights will remain suspended until further notice.
