Sheikh Hussein bin Abdelaziz Aal-Sheikh: “Islam is a Religion of peace, Which Teaches to Help Humanity”

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 20-08-2018

The Imam of Masjid-un-Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia says Islam is the religion of peace, which teaches to help humanity.

Sheikh Hussein bin Abdelaziz Aal-Sheikh delivered the Hajj sermon at Masjid-e-Nimrah in Arafah on Monday.

More than 2.3 Muslims had gathered at the plains of Arafah on the 9th of Thul Hijjah or second day of Hajj to seek forgiveness from the Almighty Allah.

Abdul Aziz Aal Sheikh urged Muslims to play their role for peace in the society.

“Islam forbids us from indulging in sins and vulgarity. Islam propagates harmony and brotherhood among Muslims and success can only be achieved by following the path of Quran and Sunnah”

Abdul Aziz Aal Sheikh says rule of law and justice are the hallmark of an Islamic society.

“Allah likes those, who are honest and pay Zakat and do charity.”

Standing on Arafat is the climax of Hajj rituals with the pinnacle of the day being the Wuqoof period which begins just after noon.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Hell than the Day of Arafah.”

At sunset millions of hujjaj will move from Arafah to the rocky plain of Muzdalifa to gather pebbles to pelt the Jamarat on the blessed day of Jumu’ah which also marks the first day of Eid al-Adha.
