Six Killed In Fatal Car Crash

Mohamed Ameen Dabhelia, 2016-03-06

Six people have been killed  after two cars collided on the R37 between Heilbron and Sasolburg in the Free State.

Witnesses say one vehicle allegedly swerved onto the oncoming lane and collided head on with another vehicle last night.

Among those killed was a 7-year-old boy and a teenager.

ER24’s Pieter Rossouw says the cause of the accident is being investigated.

“One person survived the collision – a pregnant woman. ER24 paramedics treated and transported the woman to Sasolburg Provincial Hospital for further treatment”.
