We are thrilled to announce a special opportunity to recognise and honour our devoted Muazzins, who tirelessly serve our community with unwavering commitment. With your heartfelt nominations and support, Radio Islam is hosting a competition to award one exceptional Muazzin with an Umrah trip. Let’s unite as a community to celebrate those who dedicate their lives to making a difference in ours.

Radio Islam proudly presents the “Win Your Muazzin an Umrah Trip” competition—a unique chance to honour and celebrate the remarkable Muazzins who serve with extraordinary dedication and commitment. One outstanding Muazzin will be awarded an all-expenses-paid Umrah trip to recognise their exceptional service and devotion.

Why This Competition?

This initiative is designed to recognise the Muazzins who perform their duties punctually, engage meaningfully with their community, build strong relationships, and make a significant impact. It’s a chance to show appreciation for their hard work and dedication in a meaningful way.

How to Participate:

Write a heartfelt piece about why your Muazzin is special to you and your community.

(Minimum of 700 words)

Alternatively, submit a voice note (up to 5 minutes long) sharing your appreciation for your Muazzin’s dedication and impact.

Highlight their dedication, their impact, and any memorable moments.

Ensure your Muazzin has served in the community for at least five years and has the necessary documents.

Submission Deadline: 31^st October

Terms and Conditions:

• The Umrah trip will take place during off-peak times.
• Accommodation and travel arrangements will be made at the discretion of Khidmatul Awaam.
• The prize is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• All relevant documents (SA ID or work permit, passport, etc.) must be in order.
• The selection process to determine the winner and results is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• If the winner cannot redeem the Prize or is disqualified for any reason, the winner will forfeit the prize, and the next-placed name will be the winner.
• The prize does not include food and spending money.

Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced on the 8^th of November.
