{"id":102618,"date":"2025-12-04T12:16:15","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T10:16:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/?p=102618"},"modified":"2025-12-04T12:22:09","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T10:22:09","slug":"shake-shack-burger-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/shake-shack-burger-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Shake Shack Burger (Safeera Kaka)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<p>For the ShackSauce<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup\u00a0 mayonnaise<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon Dijon mustard<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon ketchup<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc teaspoon\u00a0 dill pickle brine<\/p>\n<p>Pinch cayenne pepper<\/p>\n<p>For the ShackBurgers<\/p>\n<p>4 hamburger potato buns<\/p>\n<p>4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted<\/p>\n<p>ShackSauce<\/p>\n<p>4 pieces green-leaf lettuce<\/p>\n<p>Eight \u00bc-inch slices plum tomatoes<\/p>\n<p>1 pound cold ground beef, formed into four 1-inch-thick circle<\/p>\n<p>salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste<\/p>\n<p>Onion powder, garlic powder and chilli flakes<\/p>\n<p>4 slices cheese<\/p>\n<p>Directions<\/p>\n<p>Make the ShackSauce: In a small bowl, stir all of the sauce ingredients until smooth, then set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Make the ShackBurgers: Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-low heat. Meanwhile, open the hamburger buns and brush both sides liberally with the melted butter. Working in 2 batches, place the buns onto the heated skillet, buttered-sides down, and cook until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate and spoon 1 tablespoon of sauce on each top bun, along with a piece of lettuce and 2 slices of tomato.<\/p>\n<p>Increase the heat to medium and let the pan heat up for 2 to 3 minutes. On a plate, season both sides of each puck of ground beef with salt and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Place the pucks into the cast-iron skillet, leaving plenty of room between them. Using a large, sturdy metal spatula, firmly smash each puck into a \u2153-inch-thick round patty. Cook the burgers without touching them until the edges are brown and crisp, 2\u00bd minutes, then flip them.
