We learned that Allah loves the deed that is done regularly, even if it is small.<\/p>\n<p>But this raises a natural question: Which deeds should we be consistent in? What actions draw us closest to Allah? What worship should we prioritize in our daily lives?<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Obligations Come First<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before we discuss the supererogatory, we must establish the foundation. The deeds Allah loves most are, first and foremost, the obligations He has commanded. The five daily prayers. Fasting Ramadhan. Zakat for those who qualify. Hajj for those able. Honouring parents. Speaking truth. Guarding trusts.<\/p>\n<p>Allah the Almighty \ufdfb said in a hadith qudsi:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;\u0648\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u0642\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0651\u0628\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u064a\u064e\u0651 \u0639\u064e\u0628\u0652\u062f\u0650\u064a \u0628\u0650\u0634\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0621\u064d \u0623\u064e\u062d\u064e\u0628\u064e\u0651 \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u064a\u064e\u0651 \u0645\u0650\u0645\u064e\u0651\u0627 \u0627\u0641\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0636\u0652\u062a\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than what I have made obligatory upon him.&#8221; (Bukhari)<\/p>\n<p>Before adding extra prayers, ensure your five are established. Before fasting voluntarily, ensure your Ramadhan fast is complete. The foundation must be solid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Voluntary Deeds That Follow<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the obligations, Allah loves the voluntary deeds \u2014 the nawafil. The same hadith continues:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;\u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u0632\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0628\u0652\u062f\u0650\u064a \u064a\u064e\u062a\u064e\u0642\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0651\u0628\u064f \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u064a\u064e\u0651 \u0628\u0650\u0627\u0644\u0646\u064e\u0651\u0648\u064e\u0627\u0641\u0650\u0644\u0650 \u062d\u064e\u062a\u064e\u0651\u0649\u0670 \u0623\u064f\u062d\u0650\u0628\u064e\u0651\u0647\u064f&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My servant continues to draw near to Me through voluntary deeds until I love him.&#8221; (Bukhari)<\/p>\n<p>When Allah loves a servant, amazing things happen:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;\u0641\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0623\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0628\u064e\u0628\u0652\u062a\u064f\u0647\u064f \u0643\u064f\u0646\u0652\u062a\u064f \u0633\u064e\u0645\u0652\u0639\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0627\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0630\u0650\u064a \u064a\u064e\u0633\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0639\u064f \u0628\u0650\u0647\u0650\u060c \u0648\u064e\u0628\u064e\u0635\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0627\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0630\u0650\u064a \u064a\u064f\u0628\u0652\u0635\u0650\u0631\u064f \u0628\u0650\u0647\u0650\u060c \u0648\u064e\u064a\u064e\u062f\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0627\u0644\u064e\u0651\u062a\u0650\u064a \u064a\u064e\u0628\u0652\u0637\u0650\u0634\u064f \u0628\u0650\u0647\u064e\u0627\u060c \u0648\u064e\u0631\u0650\u062c\u0652\u0644\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0627\u0644\u064e\u0651\u062a\u0650\u064a \u064a\u064e\u0645\u0652\u0634\u0650\u064a \u0628\u0650\u0647\u064e\u0627&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks.&#8221; (Bukhari)<\/p>\n<p>This is the station of Ihsan \u2014 worshipping Allah as if you see Him. The one beloved by Allah is guided in everything they do.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Deeds Most Frequently Mentioned<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What are these beloved voluntary deeds? The Quran and Sunnah highlight several:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Night Prayer (Tahajjud)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Allah praises those who leave their beds to pray in the night:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;\u062a\u064e\u062a\u064e\u062c\u064e\u0627\u0641\u064e\u0649\u0670 \u062c\u064f\u0646\u064f\u0648\u0628\u064f\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0639\u064e\u0646\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0636\u064e\u0627\u062c\u0650\u0639\u0650 \u064a\u064e\u062f\u0652\u0639\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e \u0631\u064e\u0628\u064e\u0651\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u062e\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0641\u064b\u0627 \u0648\u064e\u0637\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0639\u064b\u0627&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Their sides forsake their beds, calling upon their Lord in fear and hope.&#8221; (Surah As-Sajdah, 32: 16)<\/p>\n<p>The Prophet \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;\u0623\u064e\u0641\u0652\u0636\u064e\u0644\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0650\u0651\u064a\u064e\u0627\u0645\u0650 \u0628\u064e\u0639\u0652\u062f\u064e \u0631\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0636\u064e\u0627\u0646\u064e \u0634\u064e\u0647\u0652\u0631\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064f\u062d\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0651\u0645\u064f\u060c \u0648\u064e\u0623\u064e\u0641\u0652\u0636\u064e\u0644\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0635\u064e\u0651\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0629\u0650 \u0628\u064e\u0639\u0652\u062f\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0641\u064e\u0631\u0650\u064a\u0636\u064e\u0629\u0650 \u0635\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0629\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u064a\u0652\u0644\u0650&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The best fasting after Ramadhan is the month of Allah, Muharram. And the best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.&#8221; (Muslim)<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Voluntary Fasting<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Fasting Mondays and Thursdays. Fasting the three white days (13th, 14th, 15th of each lunar month). Fasting six days of Shawwal. He said: &#8220;The remembrance of Allah.&#8221; (Tirmidhi)<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Loving for the Sake of Allah<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Prophet \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;\u0623\u064e\u0641\u0652\u0636\u064e\u0644\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0623\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u062d\u064f\u0628\u064f\u0651 \u0641\u0650\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0652\u0628\u064f\u063a\u0652\u0636\u064f \u0641\u0650\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u0650&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The best of deeds is love for Allah and hatred for Allah.&#8221; (Abu Dawud)<\/p>\n<p>Loving others for His sake, building relationships that draw you closer to Him \u2014 this is among the most beloved deeds.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Benefiting Others<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Prophet \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;\u0623\u064e\u062d\u064e\u0628\u064f\u0651 \u0627\u0644\u0646\u064e\u0651\u0627\u0633\u0650 \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u0650 \u0623\u064e\u0646\u0652\u0641\u064e\u0639\u064f\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0644\u0650\u0644\u0646\u064e\u0651\u0627\u0633\u0650&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others.&#8221; (Tabarani)<\/p>\n<p>Serving others \u2014 with your wealth, your time, your knowledge, your presence \u2014 is a deed Allah loves.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Personal Plan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As you come to the end of Ramadhan, choose two or three of these beloved deeds. Commit to them consistently. Let them be the structure of your post-Ramadhan worship. And know that every small step toward these deeds is a step toward His love.<\/p>\n<p>May Allah make us among those He loves and who love Him.
