Every Muslim, young or old, black or white, Arab or non-Arab, male or female, pious or not, all desire to become the beloveds of All\u0101h. That is the goal. That is the zenith and the apex of what we desire and hope to achieve. Jannah is an extra perk. If you become the beloved of All\u0101h, you have achieved in this world and you have achieved in the Hereafter. But there are multiple ways of reaching All\u0101h and becoming the beloved of All\u0101h. What is one of the most effective way? Ibn Hajar mentions Nuh\u00a0\u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0629\u064f \u0648\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f. We know that Nuh \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f preached to his people for nine-hundred and fifty years and hardly anybody listened to him, so after that, he raised his hands and supplicated to All\u0101h:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u0630\u064e\u0631\u0652 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0623\u064e\u0631\u0652\u0636\u0650 \u0645\u0650\u0646\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0643\u064e\u0627\u0641\u0650\u0631\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e \u062f\u064e\u064a\u064e\u0651\u0627\u0631\u064b\u0627\u060c\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAll\u0101h, I’ve tried for nine-hundred and fifty years, and my conclusion now is if You don’t destroy them, they will perpetuate this shirk.\u201d And we know that All\u0101h destroyed them. The deluge and the floods of Nuh\u00a0\u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f is\u00a0an interesting story but All\u0101h wanted to teach Nuh\u00a0\u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f \u00a0and us a lesson until the Day of Qiyaamah.\u00a0 All\u0101h gave Nuh\u00a0\u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f an instruction and He said ‘Oh Nuh, I want you to make\u00a0pots of clay.\u201d\u00a0 A simple task – just make pots of clay. It is an instruction from All\u0101h, so no questions were asked. He started making clay-pots and after he had made a few, All\u0101h said, ‘Nuh, I want you to break them. Break them, yourself’. So Nuh \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f took the first one, he threw it, and it broke.<\/em> He took the second one and broke it. By the time he came to the third one, he was crying. Then a revelation came from the Heaven. All\u0101h said, ‘Nuh, why you crying? It is a pot of clay’. He said, ‘Oh All\u0101h, I understand it is a pot of clay, but\u00a0I made it with my own hands.\u2019 So All\u0101h responded and said, ‘Nuh, you asked me to destroy those people. Yes, they were associating partners with me. Yes, they were rejecting my Nabi, but did it not occur to you that I created them, and you are asking me to destroy them?’<\/p>\n

This is\u00a0where the Hadith of Rasoolullah\u00a0(\ufdfa) comes in:<\/p>\n

\u0623\u064e\u0644\u0652\u062e\u064e\u0644\u0652\u0642\u064f \u0639\u0650\u064a\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647<\/strong><\/p>\n

This means that the creation is the family of All\u0101h. In reality, All\u0101h has no family<\/p>\n

\u0644\u064e\u0645\u0652 \u064a\u064e\u0644\u0650\u062f\u0652 \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0645\u0652 \u064a\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064e\u062f\u0652<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is meant is that like your family are the closest to you, there are some from the creation who are the closest to All\u0101h, the beloved of All\u0101h. Who are they?<\/p>\n

\u0645\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u0623\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0633\u064e\u0646\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0644\u0649 \u0639\u0650\u064a\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0650\u0647<\/p>\n

They are those who are good to the rest of All\u0101h’s creation. In simple words, if you want to become the beloved of All\u0101h then live to serve the creation of All\u0101h.\u00a0\u00a0The ‘I’ must die and the ‘we’ must live. It must not be about yourself. There is no achievement and no greatness in what you only can achieve only for yourself.\u00a0 Research has shown that people who live for themselves, no matter what they achieve are not truly happy and people who live to make others happy, enjoy true happiness.<\/p>\n

The best of people is he who lives to serve Humanity. May All\u0101h make us all from amongst them.<\/p>\n
