Islam is about love, through and through, but you need to make All\u0101h your Beloved and you need to become the Beloved of All\u0101h before you can radiate the love of All\u0101h to the rest of humanity. You know you can pay lip-service and say, \u2018Oh, Islam is not a religion of violence, Islam is a religion of love.\u2019 You can only show others if you have that fire of the love of All\u0101h burning in your bosom. The flame is there definitely, because we are all torch-bearers of the Kalimah, \u0644\u064e\u0627 \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u0670\u0647\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0627 \u0671\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0670\u0647\u064f, but it needs to turn into a raging fire of love, which will touch and burn everyone who we meet, and interact with.<\/p>\n

To become the Beloved of All\u0101h is not difficult. All\u0101h says:<\/p>\n

\u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0652 \u0623\u064e\u062a\u064e\u0627\u0646\u0650\u064a \u064a\u064e\u0645\u0652\u0634\u0650\u064a\u060c \u0623\u064e\u062a\u064e\u064a\u0652\u062a\u064f\u0647\u064f \u0647\u064e\u0631\u0652\u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0629\u064b<\/strong><\/p>\n

Take one baby step towards becoming My Beloved \u2013 I will run to you and embrace you and make you My Beloved. And the more you come closer to All\u0101h, making All\u0101h your Beloved and becoming the Beloved of All\u0101h, All\u0101h says,<\/p>\n

I become your ears with which you hear<\/p>\n

Your eyes with which you see<\/p>\n

\u0648\u064e\u0631\u0650\u062c\u0652\u0644\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0651\u064e\u062a\u0650\u064a \u064a\u064e\u0645\u0652\u0634\u0650\u064a \u0628\u0650\u0647\u064e\u0627<\/strong><\/p>\n

And your legs with which you walk, meaning every thought, every action, every word of yours is then guided by the love of All\u0101h Tabaraka wa Ta\u2019ala.<\/p>\n

There is a colossal difference between the love that All\u0101h has for you and the love that creation has for you. Some of the differences are: No matter who loves you from the creation it will come to an end one day because of Death. You can have your Laila, you can have your Zuleikha, you can become Majnun for your Laila, but it has to end. Either you die or she dies, and if you die, she will become somebody else\u2019s Laila. But your love, your relationship of love with All\u0101h, never ends.<\/p>\n

The second difference is that when someone from the creation loves you, there is always hasad and jealousy. If the parent shows a little bit more love towards the one child, the other children become jealous. But those who love All\u0101h and are the Beloved of All\u0101h, they are never jealous of each other.<\/p>\n

The third difference is when you love someone from the creation or you want someone from the creation to love you, you have to initiate it. You ask your wife, \u2018How much do you love me?\u2019 She replies, \u2018How much do you love me? You speak first.\u2019 But with All\u0101h it is different. Imaam Qurtubi has said something amazing, he shared that one scholar said, \u2018I had four misconceptions until I read the Qur\u2019\u0101n.\u00a0 What was my first misconception? I thought that I must love All\u0101h first then All\u0101h will love me, until I read the verse where All\u0101h says:<\/p>\n

\u064a\u064f\u062d\u0650\u0628\u0651\u064f\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0648\u064e\u064a\u064f\u062d\u0650\u0628\u0651\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e\u0647\u064f<\/strong><\/p>\n

All\u0101h loves them then they love All\u0101h. All\u0101h talks about Him loving the creation first and then the creation loves All\u0101h.<\/p>\n

I had a second misconception. I thought that I must first become happy with All\u0101h and then All\u0101h will be happy with me until I read the verse:<\/p>\n

\u0631\u064e\u0636\u0650\u064a\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0646\u0652\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0648\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0636\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0639\u064e\u0646\u0652\u0647\u064f<\/strong><\/p>\n

All\u0101h is happy with them, and they are happy with All\u0101h. So All\u0101h is already happy.<\/p>\n

And then my third misconception was that I thought I must remember All\u0101h first then All\u0101h will remember me until I read the verse where All\u0101h says:<\/p>\n

\u0648\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u0630\u0652\u0643\u064f\u0631\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0627 \u0623\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u064a\u064e\u0634\u064e\u0627\u0621\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is only because All\u0101h remembered you that you were enabled to remember All\u0101h.<\/p>\n

And my fourth misconception was that I thought maybe I must first think of All\u0101h, and turn to All\u0101h in repentance then All\u0101h will think about me until I read the verse:<\/p>\n

\u062b\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u062a\u064e\u0627\u0628\u064e \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650\u0645\u0652 \u0644\u0650\u064a\u064e\u062a\u064f\u0648\u0628\u064f\u0648\u0627<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is only when All\u0101h gazes at you with His special attention that you are blessed with the ability to turn to All\u0101h in repentance, so All\u0101h was thinking of you first.<\/p>\n

There are many differences between the love that the creation will have for you and the love that All\u0101h will have for you.\u00a0 That you know when someone loves you, they can\u2019t tolerate a partner. They don\u2019t want somebody else loving you \u2013 ask your wife.\u00a0 But look at All\u0101h! When All\u0101h loves you, All\u0101h calls Jibreel and says, \u2018I love him\u2019 then Jibreel announces to all the Angels in the Heavens that All\u0101h loves him, so all the angels start to love him. Then, Jibreel comes to Earth and makes an announcement that All\u0101h loves this person,<\/p>\n

\u062b\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u064a\u064f\u0648\u0636\u064e\u0639\u064f \u0644\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0642\u064e\u0628\u064f\u0648\u0644 \u0641\u0650\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0623\u064e\u0631\u0636\u0650\u200f<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everyone on Earth is now drawn to that person, attracted to that person and they start to like and love that person. So All\u0101h is not selfish in His love.<\/p>\n
