Place in a saucepan, add remaining ingr and simmer until slightly thickened.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Kebab<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 kg steak mince<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 onion chopped<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Ground green chillies<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Salt and pepper<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Cinnamon<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Crushed garlic<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Dhana jeeru powder<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 egg to bind<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Cinnamon<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Mix everything together, shape, put in a pyrex dish, drizzle with olive oil and bake till done<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Hummus<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tin chick peas<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp crush garlic<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp jeeru<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd\u00a0 cup lemon juice<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd\u00a0 cup thick yoghurt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp paprika<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Salt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Process everything until smooth. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">To serve: put kebab on pita, top with chilli sauce and hummus,\u00a0 grill cherry tomatoes and garnish with that. Drizzle with olive oil and serve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Basbusa <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup taystee wheat<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup nespray or klim<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">75grm soft butter<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tin condensed milk<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp bicarb<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/4 tsp vanilla essence<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">3 tblsp yoghurt<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Mix everything together, pour into greased baking pan, and bake on 170 for about 30 min. While cake is baking make thin syrup with:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd\u00a0 cup brown sugar<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00be\u00a0 cup water<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Boil for 10 min and leave to cool. Pour cool syrup over hot cake, cut into cubes and serve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Shish taouk &#8211; chicken kebabs<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">10 cloves garlic, mashed into a paste<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd cup lemon juice<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bc cup olive oil<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tbsp. ground cumin<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tbsp. ground coriander<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd tbsp. dried mint leaves<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2&#8243; pieces<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup plain yogurt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">10 fresh mint leaves, finely chopped<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Instructions<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1.Combine half the garlic, \u2153 cup juice, 2 tbsp. oil, 1\u00bd tbsp. Aleppo pepper, cumin, coriander, dried mint, salt, and pepper in a bowl; add chicken, and toss to coat. Chill for 2 hours.\u00a0 Build a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill. Skewer chicken on about eight 10&#8243; wooden skewers; grill, turning, until chicken is cooked through and slightly charred, 10\u201312 minutes.
