Place in a saucepan, add remaining ingredients and simmer until slightly thickened.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Kebab<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 kg steak mince<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 onion chopped<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Ground green chillies<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Salt and pepper<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Cinnamon<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Crushed garlic<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Dhana jeeru powder<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 egg to bind<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Cinnamon<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Mix everything together, shape, put in a pyrex dish, drizzle with olive oil and bake till done<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Tasty grilled chicken<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/2 cup olive oil<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/4 cup lemon juice<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tablespoon\u00a0 salt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 1\/2 tablespoon black pepper<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 clove garlic, minced<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01\/4 onion, finely chopped<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01\/4 teaspoon thyme<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01\/8 teaspoon cumin<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01-1 1\/2 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Combine olive oil, lemon juice and dry ingredients to create marinade. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Up to 24-48 hours prior to cooking, marinate chicken breasts in a covered dish, refrigerated. Be sure each side of the chicken breast is covered in marinade. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Grill chicken for about 8-10 minutes each side, or until thoroughly cooked. Cooking time depends on temperature and the thickness of the chicken breasts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Hummus<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tin chick peas<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp crush garlic<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp jeeru<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/2 cup lemon juice<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/2 cup thick yoghurt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp paprika<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Salt<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Process everything until smooth. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">To serve: put kebab on pita, top with chilli sauce and hummus,\u00a0 grill cherry tomatoes and garnish with that. Drizzle with olive oil and serve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Basbusa<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup taystee wheat<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup nespray or klim<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">75gr soft butter<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tin condensed milk<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp bicarb<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/4 tsp vanilla essence<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">3 tbl yoghurt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Mix everything together, pour into greased baking pan, and bake on 170 for about 30 min<\/p>\n<p>While cake is baking make thin syrup with:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/2 cup brown sugar<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">3\/4 cup water<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Boil for 10 min and leave to cool. Pour cool syrup over hot cake, cut into cubes and serve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">PHUL. (Pronounced as fool)<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">2 cups broad beans. (The brown flat ones normally found in portugese<br \/>shops)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">2 cups cape beans.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Soak overnight and peel.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Pressure cook beans for 20 mins. (Beans should be cooked through but should not be mushy)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Heat 1 cup olive oil and add bean mixture. Add ground garlic to taste and\u00a0 bring to boil. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">(Keep stirring as it catches quick ) mix together 1 tsp black pepper and 2\u00a0 tsps ground jeeroo with 1\/4 cup water. (Adding it straight into soup will lump it). Add salt to taste. Allow to simmer till thick. (Add water if too dry n thick) serve hot bread and olive oil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Mint tea<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a012 sprigs fresh mint, plus additional sprigs to be used as garnish<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a04 teaspoons loose green tea, or three green tea bags<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a05 tablespoons sugar<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a04 1\/2 cups water<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0In a large saucepan, heat water to boiling. Place mint, green tea (loose or bags), and sugar in a teapot. Carefully pour water into teapot and gently stir.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">All tea to brew for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour tea through strainer into teacups.
