By Ejaz Khan –\u00a0( @ejaz_k )<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n This Morning Radio Islam spoke to Professor Abdul Satter Kassem LIVE from the West Bank, Palestine \u00a0on the news of the Palestine Unity Government Resigning. “<\/strong>First of all, we never had a unity government\u2026That government was the government of Mahmoud Abbas, not of the Palestinians\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n He said that Palestinian people did not expect anything good to come from the so called Unity Government, and nothing did.\u00a0\u201cThey used to collect the money from western countries and pay their employees, that is all.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n He spoke about the complacency of Abbas Government in opposing continuous Israeli settlements being built on Palestinian Land, but that the Abbas government were quick to stop Palestinians from Building as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n He took exception to Abbas still being in Power:\u00a0\u201cAbbas is an illegitimate president because his mandate ended in 2009\u2026he should leave.\u00a0<\/b>We the Palestinians are no different from other arab countries, we also have a dictatorship!\u00a0<\/b>Palestinians need to kick him out, Enough..6 years over his mandate is more than enough\u201d\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n His view on the future for Palestinians remains bleak. “If we have a elections abbas will definitely lose, whoever succeeds him will not be forthcoming to work so closely with Israel.
