{"id":16224,"date":"2015-10-29T05:32:30","date_gmt":"2015-10-29T03:32:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.radioislam.org.za\/wordpress\/2015\/10\/29\/scrumptious-seafood-recipes-29-10-15\/"},"modified":"2015-10-29T05:32:30","modified_gmt":"2015-10-29T03:32:30","slug":"scrumptious-seafood-recipes-29-10-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/scrumptious-seafood-recipes-29-10-15\/","title":{"rendered":"Scrumptious seafood recipes (29.10.15)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CHEEKY FISH<br \/><\/strong><br \/>1 cup freshly ground garlic<br \/>2 tblsp sesame seeds<br \/>1 tblsp oil<br \/>1 tblsp vinegar<br \/>2 tsp red chillies<br \/>2 tblsp dhana<br \/>1 tblsp lemon juice<br \/>Salt to taste<br \/>8 pieces hake fillet&#8230;marinate in fish Masala n fry in oil&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Then take:<\/strong> <br \/>1 onion thinly sliced and fry (set aside) <br \/>3 tomatoes (liquidized) <br \/>1 tsp dhana jeeroo<br \/>1 tsp red chillies<br \/>Limri leaves<br \/>Salt to taste<br \/>Braise tomatoes, when water burns out add dhana jeeroo, salt, red chillies, and limri&#8230;fry onions and add to tomatoes mixture&#8230;place fish in oven dish&#8230;spoon tomatoes mixture on top&#8230;n warm in oven&#8230;.serve with chips and lemon slices&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUNKIST FISH &#8211;<\/strong> <br \/>marinate 2 whole red fish with 2 tsp garlic 2 tsp salt 1 tsp chillie paste 2 tsp crushed green chillies 1 tsp chillie flakes 1\/4tsp huldi 1 tsp lemon pepper dash of blk pepper lemon juice &amp;vinegar\u00a0\u00a0 fry in oil till crisp make sauce with half cup fresh cream 2 tab peri peri garlic sauce 2 tab peri peri lemon &amp;herb sauce 1 slice garlic butter 1 tsp chillie flakes boil till thick pour over fried fish garnish with lemons serve with savoury rice and butter naan &amp;salad<\/p>\n<p><strong>BATTER FISH RECIPE<\/strong> <br \/>3\/4 cup flour <br \/>2 tab mazeina <br \/>1\/4 tspn bi-carb <br \/>1\/4 tspn salt<br \/>1\/4 tspn fish spice <br \/>3\/4 cup water<\/p>\n<p>Mix everything together with whisk. Deep fry. <br \/>This recipe ideal for onion rings as well and hardly soaks much oil.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ADEGA FISH FILLETS<br \/><\/strong><br \/><strong>ingredients<\/strong><br \/>600 grams fresh hake<br \/>3tbls melted butter<br \/>3tblsp green chilli<br \/>2tbls crushed garlic<br \/>salt<br \/>2 tsp lemon pepper<br \/>Mix melted butter green chilli, garlic, salt, lemon pepper n marinate fillets cut fillets into chunks. Leave to marinate for a while and bake for 20 minutes on 180 degrees<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sauce<\/strong><br \/>2 tbls butter<br \/>1 cup mayo<br \/>1 tsp red chilli powder<br \/>100ml fresh cream<br \/>1 bottle Nandos\u00a0 bushveld peri peri sauce mix the above ingredient and give it one boil on stove once fish is baked thorough sauce over and bake further 15 minutes.<br \/>Serve with savory rice<\/p>\n<p><strong>FISH MASALA RECIPE<\/strong><br \/>A Handful of red whole chillies<br \/>12 to 15 cloves of garlic<br \/>2 tblsp dhana<br \/>1 tsp whole jeeru<br \/>1 tsp arad<br \/>1 tsp salt<br \/>1 tblsp olive oil<br \/>5 tblsp lemon juice<br \/>Few sprigs curry leaves<br \/>1 small tomato (grated)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Soak chillies in hot water. <br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 When soft, wash and drain.
