Season. Set aside<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Slice potatoes in rings and fry. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Season and sprinkle red chillies<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Cook chicken with <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">olive oil, <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">garlic, <br \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tbls MAGIC MASALA, <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">half a cup tomato puree, <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">half a tsp freshly ground black pepper <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">aromat, <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">lemon juice<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">salt, <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp green masala, <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp red crushed chillies and turmeric.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">(Cook chicken in the pot that you will use to set the food.)\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">When chicken is almost done. Take off stove and cool. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Add half cup yoghurt.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Then layer the chicken at the bottom, then the fried tomatoes, potatoes, peppers and onions, rice, and then steam<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">CHICKEN AKNI<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1 chicken cut and washed<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 onions chopped<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1tsp whole jeera<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">5 tblsp ghee\/oil<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2tblsp ginger garlic masala<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tblsp garlic masala<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1tsp salt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1tsp arad<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tblp dry dhana.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 carrots, 2 baby marrows ,1\/2 green and red pepper.3 tomatoes cubed, 3 potatoes cut in four<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">3 cups rice. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Method.<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Make vagaar with onions jeero and ghee\/oil. When vagaar is done braise masalas and spices for a while and add chicken with veggies Add a few whole green chillies and cook till water burns out. Then add tomatoes and potatoes and cook for a while In the meantime soak your rice in boiling water Once the curry is cooked add your washed rice in the pot of chicken Add 3 tsp salt and enough water to cover the chicken and rice. Let it boil on high then lower heat and steam slowly. Stir now and then and if it needs more water add very little water and steam till completely done Enjoy<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.radioislam.co.za\/Library\/Gardening\/tunaakni.jpg?resize=250%2C149\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"149\" \/><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">TUNA AKNI<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Boil 2 cups rice and leave aside<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">.Now prepare chutney:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1big or 2small onions chopped, 1tsp whole jeera, mustard seeds, thill green chillies and curry leaves, 5 tblsp ghee and oil mix.<br \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Make a nice vagaar with the above ingredients. Then chop 4 nice red tomatoes and add to vagaar.Add 3 tblps garlic masala,1 tsp salt.arad and 1 tab dry dhana and cook till sauce is nice and thick\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Add 1 or 2 tins tuna and cook just for about 5 minutes longer\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Fry potatoes separately.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Now in your pot add a little oil then add little rice then the chutney mixture and add the rest of rice on top Add fried potatoes add 1\/2 to 1 cup water and steam on low heat till done Serve with dhai<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">MUTTON AKNI<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/2 kg Leg mutton washed and cooked with: <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp garlic <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/2 tsp Arad <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tblsp ginger <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp salt <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">3 cups water <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Cook until mutton is soft<br \/><\/span><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">MASALA:<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 onions normal vagaar with whole sliced green chillies, <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">when light brown add:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp crushed green chillies<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Handful fresh green chopped dhaniya<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tblsp red masala<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tsp Dhana <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp Jeeru <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/4 tsp arad<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Salt to taste<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Let above braise for 5mins<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Then further add<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tblsp lemon juice <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tblsp green chutney <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/3 cup Tomatoe pur\u00e9e<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tblsp yogurt <br \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Once all braised add about 2 liquidized tomatoes <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">let tomatoes cook then add cooked meat to masala, 1 cup rice, 1\/2 cup water and let it steam\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Fry potatoes and add to rice <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Garnish with green dhaniya<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MEXICAN AKHNI Cut 2 big onions in a pot make soft in ghee.
