Add vanilla essence, oil and water and mix well. Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder and add to above ingredients. Pour mixture into a well greased baking pan 25cm x 36cm, and bake at 180c for 30 minutes. Beat the sugar and eggs together until <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Creamy. Boil sugar and water\/orange juice <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Together for 5 minutes until thick and <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Syrupy. Pour over top of warm cake. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Garnish with zest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">FRUIT CAKE RECIPE<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">250 gram butter <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">500 gram flour<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">7 eggs <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 teaspoon vanilla essence <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">250 gram sugar (less 2 tablespoons if adding glace cherries)<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">3-4 cups mix fruit<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tablespoon milk<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Cream butter, sugar and vanilla essence well .Add egg at a time while beating. Sift dry ingredients together and mix with fruit. Add dry ingredients little at a time to cream butter. Mixing well.
