{"id":20173,"date":"2017-05-18T05:52:34","date_gmt":"2017-05-18T03:52:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.radioislam.org.za\/wordpress\/2017\/05\/18\/ramadaan-savouries-with-a-difference-18-05-17\/"},"modified":"2017-05-18T05:52:34","modified_gmt":"2017-05-18T03:52:34","slug":"ramadaan-savouries-with-a-difference-18-05-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/ramadaan-savouries-with-a-difference-18-05-17\/","title":{"rendered":"Ramadaan savouries with a difference (18.05.17)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><br \/><\/span><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">TERAGONS<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Ingredients<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Dough&#8230;&#8230;3 cups flour, 250 gram butter, pinch of salt n 250 ml of sour cream<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Chicken filling.<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1kg chickens cubed add turmeric, salt, ground jeeru and ground garlic and cook till done.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In the mean time braise 1tablespoon butter,1 tablespoon flour add in \u00bd cup milk and \u00bc cup steers garlic sauce,red chillies,fine white pepper.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Lastly add Nando Wild herbs sauce n Nandos Peri Peri sauce.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Add sauce to chicken n 1 cup grated cheese.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Roll out dough like round small purees fold like triangles n paste with egg.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Sprinkle till and rough red chillies n parsley and then bake @ 180 degrees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">SMALL ROTIE SAVOURY<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd kg chicken fillet cubed<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Cook in the following:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp ginger garlic masala<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bc cup tomato sauce<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Pinch saffron<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Salt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp rough red chillies<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp green masala<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1tsp lemon juice<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Pinch haldi (Arad)<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Cook in little ghee and shred the meat.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Add green dhania<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Make ordinary roti balls\u2026.I TAKE 1 CUP FLOUR, SALT, and 1TBLSPN GHEE N BOILING WATER<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">U can make little balls, roll n fry on tawa or roll out dough, smear ghee n roll into a swiss roll. Cut finger size. Roll n fry on tawa.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">For 2cups of fillet I make 2 \u00bc cups of roti dough.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">On each lower roti smear a mixture of Mrs. Ball\u2019s chutney n Steers peri peri sauce.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Then put chicken filling<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Smear little green chutney on top of filling.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Then layer with grated cheese n close with roti.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Ready to freeze.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Fry on tawa till crispy. Serve hot<br \/><\/span><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">BHAJIE LAGAN<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 big bunch bhajee<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd cup cake flour<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd cup chana flour<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd cup mielie meal<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tsp b.powder<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp Salt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">5 eggs<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 onions grated<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 Cup milk<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tblsp ghee<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd cup oil<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Green chillies<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tin sweet corn<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Chopped green dhania<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bc tsp Arad<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp dhana Jeero<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Mix together. Allow to stand for 1 hour. Place in Pyrex. Put 1 beaten egg on top. Sprinkle colour tal. Bake 1 hour. font-size: 12pt;\">2 cups water<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tablespoon butter<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 cups flour<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;
