font-size: 12pt;\">i called it gingerbhen biscuits..<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">a story behind this biscuit..<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">during my hajj trip last year\/2015.. my dearest hajibhen nasreen shared this ginger biscuits with us when we used to have tea together in aziziyah\u2026\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">these biscuits were the tastiest ginger biscuits i ever tasted\u2026\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">ever since i came back from hajj&#8230;i only bake this recipe ginger biscuits&#8230;<br \/><\/span><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Ingredients<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">125g butter<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup brown sugar<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1egg<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tblsp golden syrup<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tblsp ginger powder<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bc tsp clove powder<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp cinnamon<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp mixed spice<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp bicarbonate of soda<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">self raising flour to make dough<br \/><\/span><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Method<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">beat together butter and sugar.. add in egg and golden syrup&#8230; beat again.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">thereafter add in rest of ingredients except self raising flour&#8230;mix well<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">make dough with self raising flour\u2026roll rounds into palm of your hand and dip in sugar and bake&#8230;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">rounds shouldn\u2019t be too big or too small&#8230;njoy<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Sliced Rusk<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup all bran flakes -crush<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd cup pecan nuts<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd cup almonds<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp baking powder<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 \u00bd cups self raising flour<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">250 g butter<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">3\/4 cup sugar<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">melt, then add<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup maas\/inkomaas<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 egg<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp vanilla<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">add to above mixture<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">bake in 2 loaf tins..for +-30\/35min<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">allow 2 cool, then wrap in foil, and freeze for 3hours or keep over night in fridge&#8230;then slice and allow 2 crisp on 100&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Rusk<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">250ml maas\/inkomaas<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 egg<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">250g butter<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">melt, pour over dry ingredients<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup all -bran flakes-crush<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">500g self raising flour<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tblsp somph<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tblsp till<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bc tsp salt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd cup coconut<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Muskana Biscuit<\/strong> <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00bd lb butter<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">3cups flour<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">3tsp baking powder<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1tsp salt<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">3 tblsp castor sugar<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp whole jeero . <br \/><\/span><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Method:<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">add all ingredients in a dish: make dough with milk roll out thick shape as desired brush with milk and sprinkle with till bake till done then leave in oven to crisp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 \u00bd cups castor sugar<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup oil<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1 \u00bc tsp elachi<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00be tso bicarbonate of soda<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tblsp sojee\/taystee wheat<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2 tsp bakimg powder<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">4 \u00bd cups flour..<br \/><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">beat butter and castor sugar for 5 minutes. add oil and beat for 15 minutes until white.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;
