Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 03-11-2017<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n While many were hoping it would be a permanent shutdown, US President Donald Trumps Twitter handle was briefly unplugged without warning when an employee of the social media company deactivated the @realdonaldtrump account.\u00a0<\/p>\n The account went down for 11 minutes yesterday.\u00a0<\/p>\n Twitter says it is now investigating the matter and taking steps to avoid it happening again.<\/p>\n “Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review.”<\/p>\n Trump brushed off the outage in a new tweet on Friday, suggesting it showed the impact he was having.<\/p>\n He tweeted: \u201cMy Twitter account was taken down by a rogue employee.
