Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 16-11-2017<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \n Twitter says it\u2019s conducting an initial review of verified accounts and will remove verification from users whose behavior does not fall within its new guidelines.<\/p>\n Last week, the social media site halted verifying user\u2019s accounts in the wake of criticism over organizer of the Charlottesville rally Jason Kessler, a white nationalist having received a coveted blue check mark on his profile.<\/p>\n In a series of tweets, Twitter says verification has long been perceived as an endorsement.<\/p>\n \u201cWe gave verified accounts visual prominence on the service which deepened this perception.
