Then add about half a cup of milk, heat to just below boiling point, and drink the mixture slowly, while hot.<br \/><\/span><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">CLOVES<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Indians believe a clove a day keeps a sore throat away. As well as stimulating the taste buds with its spicy pungency, clove\u2019s antiseptic action soothes sore throats and coughs. For this try a pinch of clove with 1 tsp of honey three times a day or inhale the steam of 7 cloves in 5 cups boiled water.<br \/><\/span><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">SOME MORE REMEDIES\u2026\u2026<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Boil mint leaves with powder of 3 or 4 pepper corns and a small pinch of salt is added and take 2 or 3 x a day. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Heat turmeric powder. Once boiling, remove from heat and steep the chai teabag in the hot milk mix for a few minutes.
