You can fry or scramble eggs to create tasty breakfast delights. If you mix it with flour, sugar and a flavoring agent, you will produce a good item for dessert. Eggs are also used to form soup bases, which are prevalent in many Asian dishes. Clearly, the egg is one of the most versatile items used in cooking, but its list of uses does not really end within the borders of a frying pan eggs aren&#39;t just for breakfast. There are so many uses for both eggs and eggshells. <br \/>Don&#39;t throw away those eggshells after you&#39;ve enjoyed your breakfast! They have a multitude of uses still left in them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleaning Drains<\/strong><br \/>You don&#39;t have to use expensive, harsh, toxic chemicals to clean your drains anymore. Egg shells are excellent for this job, without any harshness to your hands, sink or drains. Just crush the shells as fine as you can and let them sit in the sink drain basket. Each time the water runs, the egg shells will make their way through to your drain pipes. Egg shells act as a safe, natural abrasive and will help to get rid of any grease or hair buildup, or whatever other unidentified refuse you&#39;ve had accumulating. Be sure to save all your egg shells, enough to do all the drains in your home. You&#39;ll find that your pipes will be cleared and flowing smoothly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gardening<\/strong><br \/>Crushed egg shells are excellent for the garden. Scatter them throughout your flower beds and\/or vegetable gardens to keep cats from doing their business there. The shells are similar to crushed glass and irritate their delicate paw pads. This will deter them from entering and ruining your beautiful plants and vegetables. hey also help to deter slugs if you have a problem with those. Being organic, the egg shells won&#39;t harm your garden areas in the least, so there is no need for harsh insecticides.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egg Glue<\/strong> &ndash; Egg white is naturally sticky. If you touch it, it will cause your fingers to stick the moment it dries. Try using the egg&rsquo;s sticky base when mending light items like paper and cardboard. You will notice that it works just like all-purpose glue, with the nearly the same amount of holding power. You can even use egg white to create paper mache paste, if you mix it with flour, water, sugar and alum<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leather Cleaner<\/strong> &ndash; Egg white can be used to clean and restore leather. Its thick and sticky base easily removes dirt from a leather surface, upon scrubbing. The base also forms a protective covering on the leather that gives the surface luster and some protection from temperature changes. To prepare the cleaning solution, crack two eggs and separate the whites. Place the whites in a bowl and you can start cleaning your leather items.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pest Repellent<\/strong> &ndash; Scattering crushed eggshells on the leaves of plants can keep soft-bodied pests away from your plants. Snails and slugs, known as notorious leaf eaters, will hurt their bellies if they run over the jagged corners of crushed eggshells.
