The virtue of Aashura is primarily linked to Sayyiduna Musa Alaihi Salaam.<\/p>\n
As Muslimeen we believe in all the Ambiya of the past. We have a very close link with Nabi Musa Alaihi Salaam. Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said; \u201c We are closer to Musa than them.\u201d [Bukhari]<\/p>\n
Sayyiduna Musa is the most discussed Nabi in the Noble Quraan. He has been mentioned 124 times.<\/p>\n
The Noble quraan is not a story book, hence it does not narrate the life episodes of Sayyiduna Musa in a chronological order. Rather, it makes refers to that which is related to the subject that is being discussed.<\/p>\n
The Noble Quraan is a book of guidance for mankind. We need to derive guidance from the Noble Quraan.<\/p>\n
So, why is there such frequent references to Sayyiduna Musa Alaihi Salaam in the Noble Quraan?<\/p>\n
There are unique similarities between the life of Nabi sallallahu alaihi Wasalaam and the life of Sayyiduna Musa Alaihi Salaam.<\/p>\n
1) Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam had to deal with the Quraish who were a dominant force that possessed power and might. Sayyiduna Musa Alaihi Salaam had to deal with Firoun and his people who also dominate and possessed power and might.<\/p>\n
2) It a consolation to Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Musa Alaihi Salaam had to endure similar challenges to that which Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam endured.<\/p>\n
3)There is also a warning to the disbelievers, that if they do not believe then they could face a similar end to Firoun and his people.<\/p>\n
