Just seven months after opening its doors, The Great Yellow Brick Company\u2019s first LEGO Certified Store in Sandton City has become a must visit store for children and even adults.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Founded in 2017 by partners Robert Greenstein, Hayley Greenstein and Greg Bergh, The LEGO Certified Store stocks and display\u00a0a variety of LEGO options, installations, exclusive and extended sets, and experiences not yet seen in the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the features of the store includes Pick A Brick Wall, Build a\u00a0Minifigure Station and A mosaic of the Big 5 and a 3D model of the Johannesburg skyline designed and built out of LEGO bricks exclusively for the Sandton store amongst others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Co-founder Greenstein says LEGO bricks are so much more than just toys or collector\u2019s items \u2013 playing and building with them promotes the development of fine motor skills, encourages teamwork, and improves creativity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBuilding sets or creating their own masterpieces teaches problem-solving skills to children, and improves their communication skills too. It also develops persistence, lateral thinking and planning skills, and placing that final brick into a creation boosts a child\u2019s self-esteem \u2013 something that\u2019s clearly evident in the broad smiles that are sure to happen at about the same time!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Great Yellow Brick Co has also\u00a0extended its offering online giving consumers\u00a0access to the most extensive LEGO range available in the region,\u00a0offering all the convenience of online shopping as well as a click and collect service should\u00a0customers\u00a0prefer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The store\u2019s Brick Rewards loyalty programme will see customers earn points back based on their spend, with points translating into monetary savings on future purchases, while exclusive gifts with purchase not available anywhere else will also be available from time to time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

LEGO Certified Stores are designed by The LEGO Group and are found in just 20 other countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
