Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has collaborated with Huawei to develop smartphone apps and internet and TV channels.<\/p>\n
Saudi Press Agency reports, Saudi Arabia’s General Investment Authority will also take part in workshops and meetings at Huawei’s headquarters.<\/p>\n
The collaboration aims to improve the quality of digital services and pilgrimage for Muslims participating in Umrah and Hajj.<\/p>\n
The deal will include the development of digital infrastructure including the construction of control rooms in pilgrim reception centres in Makkah and Medina.<\/p>\n
