{"id":28420,"date":"2020-03-26T08:58:19","date_gmt":"2020-03-26T06:58:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.radioislam.org.za\/wordpress\/?p=28420"},"modified":"2020-04-14T11:31:31","modified_gmt":"2020-04-14T09:31:31","slug":"baked-lemony-garlic-chicken-drumsticks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/baked-lemony-garlic-chicken-drumsticks\/","title":{"rendered":"Baked Lemony-Garlic Chicken Drumsticks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Courtesy of Chef Zanas<\/p>\n<p>These baked lemon garlic chicken drumsticks are so easy to make.<\/p>\n<p>They are roasted to perfection and prep takes just 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Serves: 4<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredient<br \/>\n<\/strong>12 chicken drumsticks<br \/>\n2 lemons<br \/>\n8 garlic cloves, minced<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n\u00bc tsp pepper<br \/>\n\u00bc cup minced parsley, for garnish<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><br \/>\nPreheat the oven to 180 wardh parchment paper.\u00a0Put the chicken drumsticks on the baking sheet in a single layer.\u00a0Season the chicken with salt and pepper.\u00a0Rub each chicken leg with minced garlic all over.\u00a0Squeeze one lemon over the chicken legs. Slice the second lemon and put the slices on a baking sheet between the chicken legs.\u00a0Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.\u00a0Take the baking sheet out of the oven and carefully flip each chicken legs with tongs.\u00a0Return the chicken legs to the oven to the top rack and bake for another 20 minutes.\u00a0Switch the oven to broil and cook for 4 more minutes.\u00a0 remove chicken legs from the oven, put on a platter, pour the pan juices over them and sprinkle with fresh parsley.\u00a0Serve with a fresh green salad or baked potato.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Courtesy of Chef Zanas These baked lemon garlic chicken drumsticks are so easy to make.
