Thursday 20130523 – Teacher Ahmed Saeed presented a brief finding of his research on the significance of the Number 7 in the Glorious Qur\u2019an and Islam.\u00a0 This phenomenon is referred to as the \u2018numeric miracle\u2019 of the Qur\u2019an.
His research on this amazing topic primarily centres around the work of an engineer named Abdu Da’im Al Kaheel entitled Miracle of the Seven Mathani.<\/p>\n

Abdu Da\u2019im explained, \u2018After studying thousands of Qur\u2019anic words and passages, I have arrived at what can be considered the discovery of an intricate numeric system that rests within the verses of the Noble Qur\u2019an.
\u2018The foundation and basis of this numeric system is the number 7, one of the most significant numbers in the Noble Qur\u2019an1 (if not the most significant), and a hint, perhaps, that the Creator of the seven heavens is indeed the One Who sent down this Book, preserving it from distortion..\u2019<\/p>\n

One of the easiest ways to prove the validity and divine origin of the Qu\u2019ran, though not necessary for Belief, is to compare scientific hints in the Quran against the scientific knowledge agreed upon by most scientists today. Abdu Da\u2019im mentioned that, by this process, we will find that whatever was mentioned in the Quran is true. The Quran has scientific information that could not possibly have been known at the time of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu\u2019Alayhi Wa Sallam. Many of such scientific information have only been discovered recently by scientists using modern technologies that were not available 1434 years ago.<\/p>\n

Some examples are: the number 7 is used 24 times throughout the Qur\u2019an; 7 Heavens, 7 Earths and 7 Roads of the Heavens.\u00a0 There are 7 days in the week; 7 colours in the rainbow; 7 orbital shells surrounding the atomic nucleus when considering the Micro world; 7 folds Heavens when considering the Macro world; 7 ingredients human beings have been created from; 7 stages in the life of human beings; 7 moving objects amongst the stars including the sun and moon; etc.\u00a0 In the Bible too, there is deep symbolism of the number 7 viz.7 days of creation; 7 deadly sins; etc.<\/p>\n
