 Gratitude and jubilation envelopes the station at the news of Radio Islam’s achievements at the MTN Radio Awards 2011.  Messages of support from other muslim media, Ulama and the loyal listeners of Radio Islam streams in. Radio Islam won the Community Radio Station of the Year, Sister Sameera – Butterfly Corner won Best Daytime Show – Non Commercial, Radio Islam won the My Station Award and finally, Ismail Variava was inducted into the Hall of Fame for long-standing service in Radio.<\/p>\n
