Zul-Hijjah is the twelfth and final month on the lunar, Islamic, calendar.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main leaders of the movement, Choguel Ma\u00efga, is still demanding President Ibrahim Boubacar Ke\u00efta, step down. This is despite Keita having given in to a number of key demands.<\/p>\n<p>A mediation team is expected to arrive in Mali on Thursday. The president of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou is part of the team, as is C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire\u2019s Alassane Ouattara, July 23.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, mediators from the Economic Community of West African States had proposed a unity government to end the crisis in Mali, which had recently been largely violent.
