So, I decided to give a traditional Tuscan Panzanella Salad a SOUTH AFRICAN make over, with this delicious mix of flavours and texture<\/p>\n<p>This is so quick and easy. Don&#8217;t even bother about quantities, just toss it all together. Its savoury, sweet, juicy, crunchy, salty all at the same time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2714Extra Virgin Olive oil<br \/>\n\u2714Roma tomatoes<br \/>\n\u2714Basil<br \/>\n\u2714Parmasan, cut into mini wedges<br \/>\n\u2714Baby asparagus<br \/>\n\u2714Baby spinach<br \/>\n\u2714Green pepper, cut into strips<br \/>\n\u2714Day old bread<br \/>\n\u2714Garlic salt<br \/>\n\u2714Dried Italian mixed herbs<br \/>\n\u2714Balsamic vinegar<br \/>\n\u2714Brown sugar<br \/>\n\u2714Salt<br \/>\n\u2714Black pepper<br \/>\n\u2714Marinated olives<\/p>\n<p><strong>DIRECTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u27a1\ufe0fFirst, make the croutons.<\/p>\n<p>Cut bread into bite sized cubes. Toss with olive oil, garlic salt, mixed herbs and black pepper.<br \/>\nPop into an air fryer for 5 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius, or pre-heated oven for 10 minutes or until golden and crisp.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a1\ufe0fCut the tomatoes into chunks.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a1\ufe0fBlanch the tender baby asparagus for 30 seconds in boiling water.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a1\ufe0fAdd half a cup of balsamic vinegar to a saucepan, add in 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and bring to a boil.
