By Naadiya Adams<\/strong><\/p>\n 02:11:2020<\/strong><\/p>\n The month of Rabbi-ul Awwal brings with it a commemoration for our beloved Prophet \ufdfa and the life he led, as this month marks both his birth and his passing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Jamiatul Ulama South Africa\u2019s Moulana Ebrahim Bham talks about some<\/span>\u00a0lessons we can take from the life of our Nabi \ufdfa. <\/span>Bham emphasises the greatness of the Prophet \ufdfa and admits that <\/span>we, servants of the Almighty, do not possess the eloquence in which to describe the kind of man\u00a0<\/span>Rasulullah \ufdfa was. \u201cWe believe firmly, that the birth of our Nabi \ufdfa was the most significant event in human history, because of the positive impact and the greatness that came upon humanity because of Nabi \ufdfa and his presence in this world,\u201d says Moulana Bham.<\/span><\/p>\n Moulana Bham explores the reasons why Allah sent to us Prophet \ufdfa Citing the Holy Qur\u2019aan, he reads, \u201cVerily the life of Nabi \ufdfa is a perfect example for you to emulate, to bring it into your life and to have a perfect life.\u201d <\/span>A fitting tribute for our Nabi \ufdfa is to follow his example he says.<\/span><\/p>\n Our Prophet \ufdfa saw many trials and tribulations, triumphs, and losses, but he weathered the storm, and his life stands as a perfect example from which we can draw strength and knowledge as Muslims in challenges we face daily.<\/span><\/p>\n According to Moulana Bham, the first lesson we should take from <\/span>the Prophet \ufdfa is to nurture your relationship with Allah, through filling your heart with love as you approach Allah in ibadah.<\/span><\/p>\n As much as our Nabi \ufdfa loved Allah, he also feared him and t<\/span>he second lesson teaches us how to fear Allah, and how to relate to Allah through our interactions with him.<\/span><\/p>\n He believed in simplicity, and he chose ease, kindness, and he chose compassion in his daily interactions. When\u00a0<\/span>Rasulullah \ufdfa,<\/span><\/em> was given a choice, he always picked the easier path, on condition it\u00a0<\/span>bore no sin.<\/span><\/p>\n Moulana Bham says mercy and kindness during the time of the <\/span>Nabi (SAW) was the rule, while harshness was the exception. Bham describes how when\u00a0<\/span>Rasulullah \ufdfa was ordered to deal harshly with the mushrikeen (those who associate Allah with others) he responded \u201cI was not sent by Allah to curse people, I was sent as a Rahmah.
