Watermelon juice clears the skin of all its blemishes leaving it fresh and lovely. Grate a watermelon, squeeze out the juice and apply it on your face for 15 minutes. Now wash it with hot water and then splash on cold water. <br \/> 2. Fenugreek leaves (methi) cure pimples, blackheads, dryness and early appearance of wrinkles. Make a paste of these leaves and apply it every night. Next morning, wash off with warm water. This improves your complexion. <br \/> 3. Tea leaves and lemon juice helps prevent hair fall. They also lead to soft and shiny hair. You need to boil the leaves in water and strain out the tea. Add a little lemon juice to this concoction and wash your hair with it. Rinse your hair thoroughly. <br \/> 4. <st1:place w:st=\"on\">Bengal<\/st1:place> gram flour (besan) mixed with curd can be applied daily on your face and hair! It will not only give you a glowing complexion, but also long and lustrous locks. <br \/> 5. Orange juice is great for an instant glow. All you need to do is dip your fingers in the juice and pat your cheeks, chin, neck and forehead. Wash off after ten minutes. <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Most of us have a box of cornstarch in our cupboards for the two or three times a year when a recipe calls for it. But cornstarch is a great help-me for personal care because it absorbs moisture.<br \/> Here are four fabulous cornstarch recipes: <br \/> Skin Cleanser <br \/> The slightly abrasive quality of the cornstarch sloughs off dead skin cells. <br \/> Ingredients<br \/> 1 tablespoon cornstarch<br \/> 1 tablespoon glycerine<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">a few drops essential oil, for fragrance (optional) <br \/> Combine all the ingredients. Dab some of the mixture on your finger and massage into your skin. Rinse with warm water. <br \/> Sweaty Shoe Solution<br \/> if your feet tend to sweat, sprinkle a little corn starch in your shoes before you put them on. The corn starch will absorb moisture. <br \/> Corn Starch Deodorant<br \/> Combine corn starch with some finely ground lavender (optional) and pat under your arms to keep your underarms dry on hot days. <br \/> Lemon is an ideal cosmetic for fat skin care. Take a table spoon of lemon juice and a spoon of cottage cheese, mix these two ingredients carefully and apply on skin as a face pack. Rinse face pack with warm water. <\/p>\n<p> Egg-white cleans skin and pulls pores together wonderfully. Apply it on face for 15 minutes, rinse with warm water and lemon juice. <\/p>\n<p> Fresh rose petals and marigold \u0096 are wonderful cleansers for dry skin. To prepare a mixture take 100 ml of buttermilk, 50 g of fresh rose petals to marigold. Pour buttermilk in a pan, put petals and boil on small fire for 30 minutes. Remove from fire, cool down and leave for several hours. Apply mixture on skin and rinse with water. <\/p>\n<p> Nourishing face packs of vegetables and fruits are very popular in <st1:country-region w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">India<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>. There\u0092re may be lots of them, try some of them. The only condition \u0096 all products should be natural, not subjected to chemicals during growth. <\/p>\n<p> 1. Mix crushed tomatoes, cucumbers and melon; apply on face for several minutes. Then rinse with water. <br \/> 2. Crush plums or apricots carefully, apply on face for 10 minutes, rinse with warm water. <\/p>\n<p> Yolk face pack is also very popular in <st1:country-region w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">India<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> (yolk contains protein which is wholesome for skin). Add some honey to it, apply face pack for 20 minutes. Rinse with cool water. <\/p>\n<p> If your eyes are tired and swollen, such cosmetic will help: take two pieces of soft material, wrap an ice-cube and a piece of cucumber in each one. Lie down for a while with such compress on eyelids. <\/p>\n<p> To make skin soft, clean and fresh Indian women add in their bath:<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; 2-3 table spoons of starch and a tea spoon of glycerine;<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; two cups of household soda and two table spoons of salt plus several drops of essential oil (lavender or pine-tree).<br \/> Mix everything, keep in a can, and add 1 table spoon per bath;<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; Any vegetable oil (almond, olive, sunflower-seed);<br \/> &#8211; A spoon of honey, to make skin smooth and silky;<br \/> &#8211; A glass of dried milk to soften skin, but you can also use usual milk for these purposes.<\/p>\n<p> Such baths improve your skin structure; have a calming effect, what is just necessary after a stressed day. <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">For Smooth Body Skin<br \/> \u0095 Oatmeal Scrub<br \/> Mix together 1 tablespoon each of finely ground orange peel and ground almonds. This is slightly abrasive and very cleansing. Take roughly 1 teaspoon in the palm of your hand, mix with a little water and the paste to scrub the skin, then wash.<br \/> \u0095 Sugar Scrub<br \/> Soap the face well, adding a small handful of sugar to the lather. Massage this in for a couple of minutes, and then rinse off with warm water. This scrub is very useful for a spotty and sluggish looking skin.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><br \/> Pack for a fair and smooth skin<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Take 2 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp glycerine and 3 tsp rose water and mix. Apply this lotion all over the body and keep it for 15-20 minutes and then wash with tepid water.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Take 1 tsp lemon juice, cup yogurt and 1 tsp orange juice. Make a paste and apply this on your face and neck and keep for 15-20 minutes and then wash with tepid water.<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">For dry skin this mask works wonders. Take one egg and beat it till frothy. Add 1 tsp honey. 1 tsp glycerine, 1 tsp mineral oil.
