Make sure you choose one that is right for your hair and use it as often as necessary to keep your hair clean. Rinse out the shampoo thoroughly. The selection of the right type of shampoos and hair conditioners once you have identified the type of hair you have is the most important step. If your hair is dry and rough, you must use oil. This type of hair needs regular oil massage and right type of your diet. You must have almonds, carrots etc. in larger quantity apart from applying oil externally to keep them healthy and glowing. Hair is at its weakest when wet. So never brush your hair when wet. As far as possible let your hair dry naturally. Use dryers only when you are pressed for time or when you want to set them for an occasion. Detangle your hair before you wash it.
