To erase blackheads, try this quick cleansing mask: Mix two Tbs. of oatmeal, four Tbs. of plain yogurt, one tablespoon lemon juice and one Tbs. of olive oil into a paste and gently apply to skin. Leave it on for five minutes and rinse with cold water. Let your face air-dry.<\/p>\n<p>Damaged, Dry Hair ; <br \/>&quot;A nourishing conditioner for dry or damaged hair which can be used for all hair types: Separate the white of an egg from the yolk, whip it to a peak. Add 1 Tblsp. water to the yolk and blend until the mixture is creamy. Then mix the white and yolk together. Wet your hair with warm water, remove the excess moisture, and apply the mixture to your scalp with your fingertips. Massage gently until the froth is worked into your scalp, and then rinse the hair with cool water. Keep applying the mixture until it is used up and then rinsed until all of the egg is washed away.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Elbow Fix<br \/>to remove the discoloration from your elbows, just cut a lemon in half and rest an elbow in each half for 10 minutes. Or soak two tea bags &amp; place in freezer for a few minutes, place on eyes &amp; lay back &amp; relax! Or, grate a raw potato, mold it into a mushy pack, and put it on your eyes and lids for 10-20 minutes. The potato starch will help smooth eye-area skin and ease away puffiness.<\/p>\n<p>HAIR CARE WITH EGGS.<\/p>\n<p>Egg has become an important part of your hair and skin care diet. Everyone wants to have beautiful and lustrous hair. With the use of raw eggs anyone can find themselves with beautiful hair. One need not cross the seven continents to find a raw egg. Every house can easily get a good supply of raw eggs. These can be used for making some of the best hair conditioners. The properties of egg create a needed impact on your dull and dry hair. It helps the hair to recreate itself. It maintains the texture of your hair by the presence of the important elements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Some Home Based Recipes<\/p>\n<p>For strong and beautiful hair you can mix 2 egg yolks (depending on length of your hair) with 2 tsp. castor oil. Massage this mixture on your hair. Keep it for sometime then rinse it thoroughly. Whip up two raw eggs. Pour this mixture on your hair by massaging. Let it dry. Shampoo your hair and then give vinegar and water rinse. Follow this procedure every month for soft and smooth hair. Beat egg yolk thoroughly to make a frothy solution. Add 1 tsp baby oil and beat again to make a proper mixture. Add water to this mixture and apply it all over your scalp. Once dry, rinse well to get a proper conditioned treatment. Mix egg yolk in 1\/4 cup of yogurt with a little lime skin. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and apply it to every single strand of hair. After applying keep it for 10 minutes and then wash it off. The combination of yogurt and egg is very good for your hair. Mix a whole egg to lemon juice. Whisk it properly. Once applied on your hair keep it for sometime. Rinse it thoroughly. This combination gives a shine to your dull hair. Beat egg yolk to make a frothy paste. Add 1\/2 tsp. olive oil and beat the mixture again. Slowly and steadily add 3\/4 cup of luke warm water. After shampooing, massage this conditioner and leave it for few minutes. Rinse it later. It is a good hair treatment for people who are in water most of the times like swimmers, surfers etc. Mix egg, olive oil and peeled cucumber to make a good mixture. Spread it evenly on your hair and keep it for 10 minutes. Rinse it thoroughly. Mix together 1 tbsp. honey, 1 egg yolk, 1\/2 tsp. almond oil and 1 tbsp. yogurt. Make a frothy paste and apply it on your hair. Rinse it in 1\/2 hours time. This will smooth your hair and moisturize it evenly.<\/p>\n<p>TURMERIC AS A BEAUTY AID<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric is an inexpensive and indigenous beauty aid. It is also used in the formulation of some <br \/>sun screens. Smearing with turmeric paste cleans skin and beautifies it. Its antiseptic and healing<br \/>&nbsp;properties prevent and cure pimples.<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric face mask for glowing skin<br \/>as a face mask, a paste of this powder and sandalwood powder mixed with a little edible oil should be applied on your face for 15\/20 minutes. It is then washed off with cold water. Your face will be bright and radiant within 15-20 days.<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric for skin infections<br \/>for any type of skin infection, a paste of neem leaves and turmeric will work wonders. Pound dry turmeric root with milk on a stone slab to a fine paste. Apply this paste on your face&nbsp; and neck for half an hour. Your skin will start glowing. In winters, apply this paste to your lips to&nbsp; cure chapped lips.<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric during a bath<br \/>Mix pure turmeric powder in coconut oil and massage this oil into your skin before taking a bath.&nbsp; This will not only impart radiance to your skin but also ward off skin problems.<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric as a pack for arms and legs<br \/>Mix a little turmeric powder in sour curds and massage this on your arms, hands and legs.&nbsp; Wash off with cold water. Don&#39;t use soap, use gram flour instead. This serves as an excellent&nbsp; pack for your legs and arms.<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric for wrinkles<br \/>Mix a little turmeric powder with the cream of milk (malai) and apply it to the skin around the<br \/>&nbsp;eyes. This helps greatly in reducing the dark circles and the fine lines and crow&#39;s feet around the <br \/>eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Turmeric for cracked feet<br \/>slightly, warm coconut or castor oil. Add a little turmeric powder to it. Massage this oil over your&nbsp; heels to prevent cracks and roughness.
