Bonsai is the Japanese art of growing ornamental, artificially dwarfed trees.<\/p>\n

Masahiko Kimura began creating his first bonsai designs in his mid-teens. He broke the traditional rules that date back centuries by featuring dead wood sculpted by his design tools.<\/p>\n

Nicknamed “The Magician”, Kimura’s unique style was accepted and even revered over time.<\/p>\n

These days Kimura, in his 80s, is one of the country’s rare bonsai masters, and he has apprentices all over the globe.<\/p>\n
