Apply this moisturizing lotion at least twice a week if you have dry and flaky, arms and legs <br \/>Peel and grate a cucumber. Squeeze the juice to this, mix half-a-teaspoon glycerine and half-a-teaspoon rose water. Apply this on sunburns, leave it for some time. <br \/>If you have cracked heels, melt paraffin wax; mix it with little mustard oil and apply on the affected area. Leave it overnight. After 10 or 15 days, your heels will become smooth. <br \/>Massage your body with a mixture of coconut oil and any of your favourite scented oils like lavender or rosemary. &nbsp;<br \/>For rough palms, use a mixture of glycerine and limejuice in equal proportion <br \/>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Remove scars on your hands and feet by rubbing them with lemon peel. <\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Honey heated and mixed with Olive oil makes a great hot oil treatment<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Sugar massaged onto wet or damp skin &amp; scalp to exfoliate and adds moisture to rough skin<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Extra virgin olive oil can be used all over the body &mdash; to moisturize skin and hair.<\/p>\n<p>Try this for a clear complexion: <\/p>\n<p>Mix equal amounts of Glycerine, rose-water and lemon juice.<br \/>Apply it over your face using soft cotton. (Avoid applying on the eyebrows).<\/p>\n<p>Tip for relaxing feet.<\/p>\n<p>Take a basin filled with luke warm water. Add 20-25% of salt in proportion to the water quantity. Place your feet in this water for 30-45 minutes till the water gets cold.<br \/>This is will give a good relaxation to feet, especially for tired feet that hurts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Tip for black circles around the eyes<\/p>\n<p>Cut cucumber into thin round pieces. Close your eyes and place them on the cucumber pieces on top of your eyes for 10 to 15 mins.<br \/>Then wet a cotton ball with rose water and softly press it around your eyes.<br \/>This will keep your eyes cool and will help in relaxing.<br \/>You can do this once in 15 days even if you don&#39;t have dark circles, but for relaxing your eyes.<\/p>\n<p>A Simple Facial Scrub<br \/>If you think that putting porridge on your face is silly, think again. Oatmeal gently exfoliates, while the milk whitens, softens and plumps the skin. <\/p>\n<p>In a blender or with a whisk, mix 2 tablespoons of oatmeal with enough milk to make a paste. Use buttermilk if your skin is oily. Add an egg yolk if you have very dry skin. <\/p>\n<p>Apply the paste to your face, except the eye area, and leave for a few minutes. Remove with a damp muslin cloth, gently massaging any trouble spots.<\/p>\n<p>Beauty Remedies for Brown Spots<\/p>\n<p>Parboil two almonds and grind them to make a powder out of it. Mix the powdered almonds with an egg white and &frac12; tsp of lime juice. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it to dry. Once dried, wash your face with warm water and then with cold water. This is one of the most effective methods for getting rid of brown spots. <br \/>Bleaching with plain lemon juice is enough to get rid of the spots from the face and get back the glow on your skin. <br \/>Take a tsp of saffron and mix it with enough honey. Apply it all over the spotted areas and leave it to set. Wash it off with normal water to get the desired result. <br \/>Another natural remedy to get rid of brown spots is garlic. Juice out a clove of garlic and apply it all over the spotted areas, using a cotton ball, twice a day for 6 weeks to remove the spots off your face. <br \/>Add 1 tsp of orange juice to 2 tsp of apple cider to make a beneficial mixture. Apply this mixture on your face and get the desired result. <br \/>Washing your face with sour milk or buttermilk also gives out immediate results.
